    From Wikipedia,

The population was 609 at the 2010 census, down from 727 at the 2000 census.

I guess the next question is: How many homes are there in Big Trees Village?

% of the homes in BTV occupied by full time residents.

    10 to 20% of what?

10 to 20% sounds about right. My neighbors are full time residents, and it’s nice to have them looking out for my place. I gave them a key to my place and they’ll turn on the heaters for me in the winter. Sure helps!

I would guess between 10 and 20%. Permanent residency has seemed to have increased over the last few years. I suspect that’s due, in part, to the mild winters we’ve had recently. I suspect that if “normal” weather resumes there are going to be a few people moving back down the hill a bit.

Does anyone have an idea about how many of the homes in BTV are permanent residents?
