    I used Don Parr Roofing a couple of years ago, and very happy with the result and the cost. Composition shingle, about $4000 on a 12X12 pitch roof.

    I thought about a metal roof to replace my old shake roof for the same reasons, however they are a lot more expensive, require clear snow shed, and a bit noisy. I had a composite roof installed last Fall by Roscelli Roofing and was very happy with the result.

    I need to replace my old shake roof. I’m thinking about a metal roof, for durability, fire protection, and that good old alpine look.
    So, two questions:
    Any advice on benefits/liability on metal roofs?
    Any recommendations for roofers?
    I’m in Pinebrook.
