    Kuma, the washer/dryer that have never worked. Installing cabinets instead. There are a several scrappers here in San Jose that take the stuff for free. I’ll just haul it home.

     Appliances cannot be accepted at Avery, please take them to Red Hill Transfer Station, Rock Creek Landfill, Wilseyville Transfer Station or Gambi Disposal. A $25.00 charge applies.

    It’s my guess that it’s would cost more in gas to haul it away vs the scrap value. Your best bet is to take it down to Avery to recycle it.

    Is there anybody local who takes old appliances for the scrap metal value?
