We were up this week with our grandchildren and noticed a number of situations that caused us to pause. Speeding (really speeding) snowmobiles on our neighborhood streets? Fast Cars pulling sledders up the street, around corners, etc? Let’s watch out for all of our neighbors, big and small, on foot, in snow banks or on sleds and in vehicles.
After coming down Snowshoe Thompson, very slowly. I notice the visitors don’t move over for the car. Why?
Because they don’t hear it. I would suggest that you suggest to the young people to remove the ear buds from their ears when on a road where motor vehicles may be present. It’s only common sense.
