We switched to USAA from AAA a few months ago for our home, cabin and both cars. Seems OK.

We need to make a change to our regular homeowner’s, car, etc. insurance, and are thinking of going with USAA (we usually bundle policies). They are willing to insure our cabin in Big Trees too. Has anyone had any experience with having their cabin insured by USAA? Thanks in advance!

Our Arnold house has been insured for over 10 years by The Hartford via our AARP membership. The rate increase this year was very modest. If you’re a member of AARP I’d give them a try. An AARP Membership Has No Age Limit. Despite common misconceptions, an AARP membership isn’t only available to those ages 50 and older. In reality, membership is open to everyone, and it’s $16 a year.

My insurance is doubling again on this quote. Anyone have suggestions?
