    Saw this on The Pine Tree web site.

    “The former Cottage Springs ski area will be reborn as a family sledding and snow play area under a permit unanimously approved by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors at its meeting last week.”

    Maybe this is what’s going on.

    Drove by Cottage Springs yesterday and things are really changing. Does anyone know what is being built up there?
