Life span of a Giant Sequoia: In God’s history = 2000 years. Tunneled-through in humankind’s history = 200 years

What a sad day to see such an historic icon fall. We have enjoyed this tree and all the others in the park with many friends and family for the past 19 years and it will be missed.
I only hope there were no injuries from the fall!
Thats too bad. An amazing tree. Surprised is lasted as long as it did since they ripped out it’s guts.
Taken September ’03…a favorite spot, for sure.
