We’ve had Ebbetts Pass Gas for over 24 years…they’ve always been extremely helpful and accommodating, no matter the situation…

Thanks.

December 11, 2016 at 8:57 am #4802carlshomeParticipantThere was a thread on this same topic a year or so ago. As I remember it others had felt like they were over charged too.
We have been with Ebbetts Pass Gas for 17 years. I always feel confident that their billing is reasonable. I highly recommend them.
December 10, 2016 at 8:09 pm #4799gagacabinParticipantI took the invoice to Ebbetts Pass Gas so they could see the amount that was put in the tank from the other company that same week . After talking with others up in our area, it seems like Ebbetts Pass Gas is very fair.
They were extremely nice, they came out, gave me an estimate on what it will cost to put in their tank this spring.
From what they told me, I am not the only one who has complained of the other company.- This reply was modified 7 years, 11 months ago by gagacabin.
December 10, 2016 at 7:58 pm #4798caleachParticipantWe have been with Ebbets Pass for over 15 years and have never felt overcharges. This is a difference between the amount of fuel loadin in the winter versus summer dues to temperature. Make sure you are comparing app,es to apples.
I would never have thought it was that competitive a situation up,here.
December 10, 2016 at 7:13 pm #4796gagacabinParticipantWe have had a cabin on Shoshone for about 6 years. We used a propane company the previous owner was using. A few months ago, I saw the propane truck on the web cam, since I knew I would not be home when the invoice arrive I called to ask the cost. She said $985, I gasped, she said “Is there a problem”? I stated that the bill has never been over $600 in the past and that I was shocked. She said “it seems they have you on a high rate”. So, after talking with the neighbor, I called Ebbetts Pass Gas, told them the amount of gallons that was put in by the other company. He said their cost would have been $450. A few days later the propane company (not sure I should mention their name?) called and said good news, I have lowered your bill to $560. What the heck I am thinking. If I hadn’t of gasped in the first place, the price would of stayed the same? We will switch to Ebbetts Pass Gas when the tank runs low. Seems the other company will charge me to remove the fuel and to remove their tank. Even at lowering their price, according to Ebbetts Pass Gas they still over charged me. Now I am wondering if we have been ripped off for the last 6 years. Any thoughts on this, am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?
