An internet search verified that there are scorpions in Calaveras County. The report said the sting of a scorpion is about like a bee sting. Not a problem unless a person has a serious allergy.
The bite of a scorpion is not a problem. The sting is a different matter. This was on one of my biology class in college. I missed it!
ScottWas cleaning upside wood pieces my lot and look what I found! It was about 2 inches long and I don’t know enough about scorpions to know if this one would have hurt or not. First time seeing one up here.
