    Yes it has been purchased.
    Not much more information except rumors.

    As everyone else said, “local hearsay” is the sale was in escrow and was was supposed to close in September of 2014. We’re full time and no more gossip since last October (2014).

    Met a man in Half Moon Bay whose brother owns a place in Big Trees, and who told him that the entire Dorrington complex (Hotel/annex, the old Tolferson Market, and the Lube Room) have been purchased by someone who wants to invest some time and money and get it going again. I can’t find anything on this board about it, but has anyone heard anything? It’s just SAD to see everything closed down (I remember when the Lube Room also pumped GAS out front!)

    Stuck in the lowlands at the moment…
