    First time bear sighting for me on Venado. Standing at the head of my driveway talking with the neighbor, and a bear cub comes up crosses the street within 20 feet of us. It looked a little young to me to be without mama. However I tried following it to get a pic but could not do it. All the while, looking over my shoulder for mama. He wandered off toward Lakemont. Very exciting

    Thank you for posting! It’s been several years since we’ve seen a bear up here too.

    Very cool, we were just talking today about not having seen a bear in our 12+ years here.
