Where did you get the Dogwood trees? Do they grow quickly?

I went on Saturday 5/26 and they were closed. I spoke to the folks at the Camp Connell store and they confirmed that they are shut-down.

I took a load down to the Red HIll Transfer Station in Vallecito which is 25 miles away from Big Trees.

I have purchased several trees from the 2 giant sequoias, and 10 Dogwoods all are doing great.

There is a stool alongside the road on Shoshone, I am wondering if perhaps it belongs to someone. It is rather odd. It has a pair of jeans, underwear showing and a nice pair of boots. I will provide the address if anyone claims it.
I am hoping I did it correct and got the picture on here.

A couple of months ago, we returned home from skiing to find a blue canvas bag labeled “The Bentley School” on our porch. It had some clothes in it. We figured someone dropped it at the wrong house and would figure it out and come by to pick it up. Well, we came up for Memorial Day and it’s still here.

PM me if you’d like to pick it up.

The store in Big Trees State Park had trees ready to plant. You may want call first and see if they still have them. Visitor Center 795-3840

Native trees take a long time to grow, you may want to check at Ebbetts Pass Hardware (John) for a tree that may be faster growing.

We’ve been considering planting some native trees on our property here, like sugar pine and giant sequoia and were wondering if anyone has experience with and/or recommendations for local sources or possibly mail order.

I’m wondering if Rowleys is open for business this year to take site clean-up debris and if so, what days of the week and through what date are they open. I know they’ve been threatening to shut down operation the last few years. Any update would be appreciated.

As of Monday, Memorial Day, ALL burning permits are suspended. No burning anymore debris piles this year
