I would hope that the lot clearing requirements are not delayed or cancelled this year. With the ongoing drought and all of the branches and trees that came down during the March storm, the fire load it still very high. And although the crowds are not up there now, I believe that they will come in large numbers when the current restrictions are removed. The surge of visitors may well come at the height of the fire season. For those of you who normally clean your own lots, maybe this year you could hire a local contractor to do the work. The businesses up there have taken a big hit and the infusion of a few extra dollars into the local economy would be a big help.
FlyfishrParticipantSo, this coming weekend, the last weekend in April, is typically when I start my lot cleanup. I time it to coincide with the stream trout season opener. Obviously, that will not happen this year. Has there been any word if the forest service will be delaying or even cancelling lot inspections this year? I know fire season does not shelter in place, but with no people coming up to the mountains the fire risk should be greatly reduced.
AZbunchParticipantThank you Logs!!!

AZbunchParticipantThanks flyfishr…appreciate the info!
FlyfishrParticipantNo hesitation, no doubt. Canton Construction – Mark Canton lives here in Big Trees Village. Phone number

A very tall treetop broke off during the storm last month and speared down into my kitchen. My roof is fixed but I’m now looking for licensed contractors who can give me some estimates for my insurance company so I can get moving on inside repairs. Thanks in advance!!

skipamyParticipantThanks! I didn’t think about chat. You’re right, it’s easy to wait while you’re doing other stuff.
slider2ParticipantI just got mine today. Log on to your account, then contact – when their drop down box has list of reasons, say none of the above. They’ll ask if you want to talk to a live agent – say yes. You get a live chat – I was 23rd in queue but it went quickly. Took quite a while for them to check our account and confirm outage, but finally ended up with a 25% credit for 8 day outage. Worth the time spent – especially when sitting around with nothing else to do.

chrisParticipantI had a large top of a tree on my roof. Joel from Lone Pine Tree co came up and did a great job. On time, did the job quick, done to my specs, and good quote.

mtndadParticipantI haven’t found a way to get through to talk to an agent.
I’m going to keep trying because you are correct, you have to request the refund.
SandiParticipantskipamyParticipantHas anyone gotten a Comcast refund because of the long outage? Last time, we had to call them and request it. I have not done that yet. I’m assuming lines are busy.
What have you guys done/found out?
