I'd like to catch the SOBs that are dumping the stuff (and/or stealing it too). Earlier this year we used the upper court at the end of street to practice on our scooters for the DMV test. There was an old vacuum cleaner on the side of the road and we hauled it off to the dump. Maybe I should put my "spare" surveillance camera over there.

I saw a little old brown racoon strapped into the baby carseat. It's about 8-10 " talll. I didn't see the 'welcome' sign.
I drove through last night because I had never been to the end of that road. It was a little freaky to see all that stuff set up like that.
Anyone missing yard art should go and check it out…could ber stuff you're missing?
You didn't by chance see a weathered raccoon with a Welcome sign on the trail? Some thief stole it off our porch a couple of years ago.
On our morning walk the other day, we came upon a "menagerie" of yard art, etc. that some local pranksters have put together on the Timber Trail street off Sierra Parkway. The latest addition today is a child's car seat – hope a family doesn't need this to get home!
i'll check the pressure when we get up there. not sure when that will be. depends on the smoke. i know the house is copper not galvanized. i talked to the previous owner and he didn't know about one but i have a couple places to check. i'll also check in the meter box itself!

Sounds like a regulator isn't required. ndamico, I would check the water pressure and see what it is just out of curiosity. I guess you could have some kind of blockage in your water line but I don't have any ideas what it might be.

I installed one the next year on the house side of the meter by the street following CCWD instructions that CCWD gave me when I bought my cabin.

Interesting. I haven't seen a place up here without a regulator before. I always assumed it was code but maybe not. I couldn't find a guage online at Ace, but True Value has them or you can get one at Amazon:
With either one of those kind of gauges you can connect it to any of your standard water faucets and check your water pressure. I think under 40 pounds is getting on the low side.

Just wondering, did CCWD board put in place the outrageous rate schedule that was to be voted on recently? I sent in my protest email at the last minute, hoping that they may reconsider. I am sure that for many people like me, as a part timer, that I rarely exceed 100 cf per bill, and the cost per cubic foot would be astronomical.

I talked to customer service at Wilson and they recommend an amp and pre- amp.
In all about 600 bucks from amazon.
