Overall I think they did a good job. They were pretty nice if you were here. I have an oak tree that’s on my side of the water ditch and they asked me if I wanted it cut down or leave it alone. I kept the tree but I’m not sure what they would have done if I had been gone.
Glad you found Ruby! We also have German shorthair. She’s a great dog but also tends to run off whenever she has a chance.
I was running on Shoshone that a.m. when you told me you were looking for your dog. When I got back and told my family, we were all concerned for his safety. Very glad to hear the news.
I have to agree with you MonkeyMountain. I get so frustrated with seeing some pile of termite chewed wood from the 70’s covered with a tarp full of holes. It just looks junkie. That being said with a lot of the BT area being still owned by aging owners that do not use the cabins as much as when the kids were younger nor have the same energy, I don’t think we will see the tarps going away any time soon. I have not seen some of the folks that own cabins around us in years.

From what I have been seeing in the forum it looks like bears sightings are up?
It amazes me that someone would cover wood etc; in this beautiful forest with blue and silver tarps for all of us to enjoy. .. stop by and I’ll be happy to give you a brown one….
That is such good news. I have two dogs and can’t imagine the heartache you felt when you couldn’t find her.
We have her back! She was found two miles up Hwy 4 from Ottawa by two people whom I did not meet at about 7pm.Our thanks to Joel at BV Real Estate who took her home and gave us a call. So much for heading down the mountain!
