Does anyone have feedback on Noritz tankless water heaters? That’s what’s being recommended for our cabin. We’ve never installed a tankless before.
Snider Snow and StumpParticipantThank you for sharing that! What a great video!
mikeanelloParticipantThere are at least 3 different bears on the video. This is the first year I have seen bears on my camera. I have seen the mountain lion every summer. Last year I saw a female mountain lion as well.
michelle sParticipantGreat video! They’re all there, aren’t they?! I also saw “the” bear (I prefer to think there’s only one) jogging the fire trail yesterday, wasn’t interested in me but I didn’t cross him, either.
gagacabinParticipantThank you for sharing. That was awesome! I have seen two bears on Shoshone in the past month. Big, black and shiny, beautiful.
mikeanelloParticipantcaleachParticipantI ended up dropping them off at the Arnold Firehouse and they were well received.
rswheeler1ParticipantAn internet search verified that there are scorpions in Calaveras County. The report said the sting of a scorpion is about like a bee sting. Not a problem unless a person has a serious allergy.
The bite of a scorpion is not a problem. The sting is a different matter. This was on one of my biology class in college. I missed it!
ScottcaleachParticipantWas cleaning upside wood pieces my lot and look what I found! It was about 2 inches long and I don’t know enough about scorpions to know if this one would have hurt or not. First time seeing one up here.

caleachParticipantThis bag was used only once that I know of and is in brand new condition. It’s padded and insulated and is a 166, suitable to airline travel.
I will be coming up tomorrow to BTV and will have it with me if anyone is interested. Price is $50.00Attachments:
FRANKTABBAHParticipantDOES ANYONE KNOW OF A PERSON THAT WILL DO WORK ON A SUSPENSION BRIDGE?
mr ellisParticipantWhat in the world is taking so long to get the site up to “snuff”.
Jeez…..caleachParticipantThanks for both suggestions, I will check out both places next time I am up.
cheyenne26ParticipantI recognize those vests!! The fire station next to Ace Hardware in Arnold usually has a rack outside with vests that I’m pretty sure are free. That might be a place to go.

BootstrapParticipantYou might want to drop them off at the shelter at the Snowshoe Springs pond with a sign that say’s “FREE”.
