Hi neighbors,

We are looking for some strong backs to help move some sofas from Arnold to Dorrington. There are flights of stairs involved on both ends of the move. Any recommendations on who we could hire? We are flexible on days/times – could be as soon as this Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Or we could plan for later in the summer. We could rent a trailer and provide transportation, if that helps get the job done.

Then, any ideas where to donate a sectional sofa and futon, both in fair shape?

Our security camera recorded this feline walking past our deck early this morning. The cat was about 10 feet from our house. Our house is on Bull Wacker Run in Mill Woods.

I talked to Dennis, supervisor with NCPA, yesterday and he confirmed the road will be open in a couple of weeks. The Forest Service is making temporary repairs.

This is sad. I was amazed the first time I had dinner here several years ago. Never would have thought that a Chinese restaurant in Arnold would have such quality food, but it did. Rivals some of my favorites in Santa Clara county. Was never disappointed any of the times I’ve had dinner here, and have often stopped on the way up to the cabin and picked up a couple of their lunch specials.
Going to miss this place.

I talked to the owner of Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods. He said they are looking to open it in a couple of weeks as of this past Saturday.
