We finally tracked down who was removing trees and brush by the road that wasn’t a threat to PG&E wiring. It turns out it was the county, clearing vegetation by the side of the road to facilitate their snow plowing operations. While it seems they were overly aggressive in places, we certainly do appreciate the snow plows and realize our property lines end well off the edge of the road.
Snider Snow and StumpParticipantSnow removal is not something you just learn over night. It take a lot of experience and the right machinery. Thankfully Adam Snider has both 23 years now plowing in the Dorrington and Camp Connell area. Call us more than likely he has plowed your driveway and can describe it over the phone…when you contract with a company you want to make sure they have the experience. You don’t want just anyone bringing equipment onto your property. Things can get damaged if they don’t know what they are doing..Snider’s we have the right equipment and the experience to do the job right…209 795-2847 or snidersnowremoval@outlook.com

Snider Snow and StumpParticipantPaul Bloom is excellent!
rswheeler1ParticipantI found someone to cut up my cedar tree. His name is Paul Bloom. Phone 925-360-2811. He’s charging me just $185 to cut into 15″ rounds and move all of it into the backyard so it won’t get stolen (which has happened in the past).
ScottSierrashooParticipantIt’s very likely you folks were ID’ed by the volunteer fire prevention folks at the BTV Rec Center earlier this year. And you likely got notified of non-compliance (unless your lot is undeveloped – e.g. has no buildings on it – that’s another person who does code compliance). And… yes. It’s likely that you’re STILL not in compliance. This year, however, CALFire is no longer “looking past” non-/semi-compliant lots. Honestly? That’s a good thing. So many of us not local, hire a “service” and never look back to see what they did/did not do. You get the letter from BTV and tell yourself – well the service guys will be there soon. Most of the hire-able labor will rake. But they’re not gonna trim your tree limbs 14′ feet. Not going to take care of limbs hanging over/touching your roof. Those are the things folks are getting cited for right now.
Snider Snow and StumpParticipantCall Snider’s if it’s too much for you to do. We mulch, haul, logs and grind stumps. We are also licensed to do trees. We have been getting a lot of calls from people. We typically do the lots that are too much for the average lot cleaner. If you have a lot of sucker trees we ususally have the homeowner mark the ones to keep and mulch up the unwanted ones. Call us we can give you a list of ones we just completed so you can drive by and look.It also chews up hornet nests in the dirt which may be harmful to pets and small children. Let us help get you fire safe! 209 795-2847 The most important thing is we guarantee you will pass inspection in writing.

sjhuskerParticipantI also received one today from an inspection on 9-20-18. I had my lot cleaned in May. PG&E has marked at least an additional 8 live trees for removal inside the 30′ on my property. More debris will be left when they remove these trees in the immediate future. We all care about fire prevention, but, what is going on?
ndamicoParticipantso we just got a lot inspection notice in the mail. date of inspection was 9/24/18? letter was from Cal fire. why are they inspecting now? its almost October. And they are saying to remove stumps now? that’s crazy!
rswheeler1ParticipantPG&E cut down a big cedar tree for me. I need someone with a 24″ chainsaw to cut it into rounds and move the rounds into the back yard.
Scott on Hoopa CirclecaleachParticipantAslso found out about an APP called “Mark The Spot” which allows you to mark a spot where you’d like to see service. When you’re back in range the information will be uploaded to AT&T.
caleachParticipantHad a very good conversation with AT&T today. Here is what they say about someone who may be interested in having a tower on their property. perhaps the HOA?
We appreciate the opportunity to assist you. For your reference we have provided additional resources:

They have always done good by us.
gagacabinParticipantIf you want dependable snow plow service, Adam is the best we have had over the years here. His wife, Jessica, is very nice and pleasant on the phone and will get a message to Adam fast. We have had several steep driveway issues in the past. It has always been Adam to the rescue. I highly recommend his service.
