I am changing out my round bowl toilet for an elongated one. So I have a free perfectly functional round bowl Kohler toilet looking for a new home. Includes soft close lid and seat, plus a new flapper. Kohler model K4620, low flow 1.6 gallons per flush. Contact me for the address.

carlshomeParticipantAs it is PG&E’s drop line from the pole to your house, I suggest you call PG&E. This has the possibility of being quite a hazard if the insulation on the wires wears through from rubbing on the tree.
SnowShoeParticipantMy electric service wire from the PG&E power pole to our cabin is in contact with a tree. I don’t want to remove the tree so it appears my options are separating the wire and tree with an insulator, or moving where the wire attaches to the cabin about a foot. Anyone have a similar experience and thoughts, and an electrical contractor recommendation?
And, thank you Big Trees Tech for maintaining this site. I really appreciate it!
sharris2347ParticipantCan anyone recommend someone to clean my gutters in Big Trees?
MaloneyParticipantI used Jim Aberle a couple of months ago and he was great.
Jim’s Asphalt
(209) 768-4557rswheeler1ParticipantI used Ron Cooper’s outfit. They were OK.
sierra17ParticipantMy driveway, sadly, is coming to end of life. Can anyone please recommend a good asphalt contractor?
Thank you!
LogsParticipantI didn’t see that anyone responded to the question about Rowleys. The answer is yes, they are open every day (although it is no longer Rowleys, it was sold 3 years ago, but you can still find phone and other info by googling Rowleys). They are much more reasonable than I thought. I ended up paying them twice what they asked for. Support this local business.
tmjhscParticipantAgree. would love to see them!
chipmunkParticipantIt’s be great watching all of your aerial videos Joe! I feel sorry for those that donated to your cause.
lostbruceParticipantI have had great experience with Calaveras construction, Mike Jarnigan for a deck years ago and a garage last year. I’m sure there are other great contractors in the area, just sharing my experience.
May want to keep in mind that lumber cost is up 2x or 3x right now compared to a year ago. If you can wait, maybe the costs will correct themselves, maybe not.
ejgurt1ParticipantWe are looking to get our deck replaced… any referrals?
tmjhscParticipantAnd come to think of it, yes, I think you did send out the link when you took it down from BigTreesTech….
tmjhscParticipantYou’re welcome for the link!
But I am not the one who saved the info. I knew it existed “out there” becuase I have used it since you took it off BigTreesTech, and did a quick google search for it to find it.
In fact, I was mistakenly under the impression that you had archived it somewhere using the alias bigtreeshome.com.I wonder who did?!
vcolemanParticipantHi there, would you happen to have the contact information for James Miller? Thank you so much in advance!
