ParticipantTo start a new topic:
click on “Forums” (near the upper left on the home page)
Once in Forums click on the appropriate section…. Probably “Cabin Maintenance” or “Big Trees Talk” whichever is logical for your new topic. (There are a few others)
Scroll to the bottom of that page and you will see the form for a new topic. Fill in a topic title and then put your message in the box. If you wish to be notified of replies by email, check that box. Click “Submit” That’s it!rswheeler1
ParticipantCan someone explain to me how to start a new topic? Obviously, I’m not very good at this. Thanks in advance, Scott

ParticipantI’m sorry you did not realize that this was a produced show.
We have eaten there many times (never slept there) and the dinners have been excellent.
Never heard a complaint from any of the diners
Drinks are good and food is fresh.
Hope you try it soon.

ParticipantWatched the show last night. It was entertaining. The first 45 minutes made me glad that I never ate nor slept in the establishment. After the Ramsay makeover I’d at least consider having a meal there. Just hope the owners don’t let the hotel fall back into disarray.

ParticipantThanks for the info on Vicki. I don’t know how to start a new thread.

ParticipantA recommendation for a window cleaner was post to the Traffic thread and thought I route it to “Cabin Maintenance”. Vicki/Twinkle are the best!

ParticipantWas law enforcement out there directing traffic? If not, should they have been?

ParticipantYes, I was stuck in it too. Left Meko at 2:15. I have never seen it that bad. About 5 cars at a time.
Thanks

ParticipantWe too try to eat in town at least once on our trips to Arnold. Always stop into the Humane society thrift shop for great deals.

ParticipantHi,
Do you snowmobile? Would you like to? Would you like to have a forum to keep up to date on what’s going on with the snowmobile crowd on the Highway 4 corridor?
– tailgates at the snowpark
– Full moon rides
– Group rides
– latest conditions
– Tech talkI set up a facebook page called https://www.facebook.com/BVASR
It’s short for Bear Valley Area Snowmobile Riders. Please Like us to stay up to date. There is also a Bear Valley Snowobile Club that has put on some great events like poker runs. https://sites.google.com/site/bearvalleysnowmobileclub/
Feel free to check them out as well. Thanks, Neil
PS – for those that have not tried snowmobiling – you should check it out this season. You can rent a sled from Bear Valley Snowmobile and take a ride out to Hermit Valley or Highland Lakes. For those of you who have only seen those areas in the summer, to see them in the winter is really awesome. if you are interested in renting a sled this winter – check out their web page at – http://www.bvsnowmobile.com/reservations/
