Last Thursday, our phone was working fine on El Camino Bootstrap. On Friday it was dead. Called ATT and, by sending a signal, they said it was on their side of my box. The tech came out on Saturday and had to go over to a terminal on Ottawa to fix the phone. Got it working within 30 minutes. I still don’t know what the problem was…

I use a leaf blower to clean my roof. I have also used a rake that I slide into a long PVC pipe when I don’t want to get up on the rooftop. Drill a hole thru both and hold it in place with a screw and nut, worked great.

CalWaste took over the business this past year. The rules have changed a bit on the bins. For years now I have gotten a 20 yard bin and they would leave it for as long as I needed, I would call for pick up when I was done. New rule is you only get it for 1 week. If you need it longer they charge you per day extra. Cost has also gone up like everything else in life.

I think you can get a debris box for needles and such from Cal-Waste, 795-1532, Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

When I have hired Ash-Away to clean my chimney, they are happy to also blow off the roof while they are up there..

I use a long pole of conduit with a broom duct taped to one end to get needles out of valleys and from around vent pipes. This year I hauled everything to millers.

Abouyt the only thing I can’t do myself is sweeping my roof. Any suggestions as to who to call? I wouldn’t mind them doing all my raking and hauling, but the roof is the main concern.
    Thanks,
    Gary

We are going to in BTV next week and need yard bins — who is still in the business? Also, what is the dumping fee at Rowley’s

The pups (all five of them) usually run or walk into the culvert under the driveway at the first cabin (the newer cabin with a concrete driveway). I tried to get more pictures yesterday but the pups didn’t stick around long enough. My wife saw four of the pups a couple of days ago and another guy came along and said there were five pups. I wonder which cabin they are using for their den! 🙂

We came around the bend to find the family in the middle of the road. Mama quickly headed off the road. The pups all milled around looking at each other, “Hey where’d Mom go? Wanna play? Look there that huge wheeled thing! Whoa, sister ran off that way, let’s follow her!” And away the pups trotted after one with sense.

They need some survival lessons pronto!

Cool! The most I’ve seen is three. They definitely have a den there somewhere. A friend of ours saw the pups too in the same area. Cuties when they are young!
