Toll Free: (866) 746-5050 She is the best.before we bought we did ski leases for two seasons, two different homes, both through Teri Slankard. We also looked at homes from all the other agents offering ski leases, C21, barryWard, donfry, and coldwell. We liked a number of Teri’s homes whereas the other agents’ homes varied widely in quality, some pretty abysmal. So in terms of my viewpoint as a leaser, Teri only showed us houses that were clean, comfy, and suitable. She did her homework so we got places suited to our needs. And one agent consistently showed us the worst of the lot but I’d have to check my notes. Teri quickly addressed any concerns we had and was pleasant to work with, I have no experience from the landlord side though.
We are are thinking of renting out our cabin part of the time to help offset some of the maintenance costs and have some questions.
1- who are the more active and reliable rental agents handling BTV cabins?
2- are there any downsides to renting?

http://www.allenshawconstruction.comA little off topic, but on my last trip up, I spotted a beautiful bobcat. Crossed in front of my car on lower Sierra Parkway.
Very few people get a permit. In fact I don’t know anyone that has gotten a permit. I’ve cut down several trees over 10″ diameter in the last 20 years. I think the intent was to prevent people from clearcutting their lots. I read the CC&Rs when we first bought our cabin and noticed that too.
A friend of ours covered their vents. Once the water heater sprung a very small misty leak and the entire basement was moldy. However, after running a fan 24/7 for a few weeks the following summer everything was OK.
Honestly I think the vents are put there just so the green wood can dry when a cabin or home is new.
Maybe a pregnant chupacabra. 🙂 I have a couple of trail cams I haven’t put up yet. I plan on using screws to attach them to a tree.
Not sure what you can do to secure it, however that’s definitely a house cat.. a pudgy one at that. 🙂
Yay! Santa brought me a trail cam. Lots of cool pics so far. Just wondering the best way to secure so it doesn’t get stolen. Also, does anyone know what this is? My hubby thinks it’s a cat but I think it has a pointy nose.
