For chipping of small piles we refer Jherret Greene 209-559-8182.
bigtreestechmanKeymasterA large group of adults showed up today at the house at 48 Boards crossing. When I saw them this afternoon, they were violating many of the State and County COVID19 Health and Safety orders that are still in place.
These sort of visitors ARE NOT WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY!May 5, 2020 at 6:20 pm in reply to: County to remove large debris from roadside? Truth or fiction!! #67191OutdoorsmanParticipantWe spent the weekend clearing the manageable stuff since the yard waste place was open in Camp Connell. The larger stuff PG&E left along the roadside we’re leaving for now.

Truth or fiction!! #6718everikParticipantSo, do I chance it and leave a large pile on the road side, hoping the forest gnomes will come pick it up? We had four trees domino in the back and I’ve been hauling all the branches to the road.
rswheeler1ParticipantEl Dorado Septic is very good.
skipamyParticipantAloha! Our cabin is named Hale Mauna.
The leach lines were clogged with roots. We ended up having to replace the entire leach field. I used Bryan Fassbender of Accurate Excavating and thought he was very good.
mauka haleParticipantI’m having some standing water in the riser to leach line. What did you find was the problem with you issue in your leach line.

nano101ParticipantAZ thank you for the recommendation.
AZbunchParticipantI had a tree spear into my kitchen and Warren Roofing did a great job. Very quick to assess the damage and got the roof covered up asap, which wasn’t an easy task by no means. Job is now complete and I’m very pleased! Matt at (209) 586-3855.
nano101ParticipantJust got 10″ diameter tree top off of my roof and insurance claim filed. Now looking for contractor recommendations to repair the roof (shingles, decking, support structure, ridge beam etc). Recommendations are appropriated.
April 30, 2020 at 6:35 pm in reply to: County to remove large debris from roadside? Truth or fiction!! #6708bigtreestechmanKeymasterTruth. They came down Wikami today. I wish we’d known. We paid to have it cleaned up a week ago.
I have no idea where they’ve been or where they’re going next. Today they got as far as the corner of Kenshaw and Wikami, coming down Wikami from Sierra Parkway.1OutdoorsmanParticipantA couple of our neighbors have mentioned that the county was going to remove the large debris from the recent storms. You just need to pull it to the roadside. Any truth to this?
bchankParticipantI would hope that the lot clearing requirements are not delayed or cancelled this year. With the ongoing drought and all of the branches and trees that came down during the March storm, the fire load it still very high. And although the crowds are not up there now, I believe that they will come in large numbers when the current restrictions are removed. The surge of visitors may well come at the height of the fire season. For those of you who normally clean your own lots, maybe this year you could hire a local contractor to do the work. The businesses up there have taken a big hit and the infusion of a few extra dollars into the local economy would be a big help.
FlyfishrParticipantSo, this coming weekend, the last weekend in April, is typically when I start my lot cleanup. I time it to coincide with the stream trout season opener. Obviously, that will not happen this year. Has there been any word if the forest service will be delaying or even cancelling lot inspections this year? I know fire season does not shelter in place, but with no people coming up to the mountains the fire risk should be greatly reduced.
