PG&E contractor did that. I assume they plan on taking them down and hauling them away. It’s my understanding that PG&E can no longer leave the wood because it just propagates the infestation.

Seen a bunch of markings on the beetle kill trees. Mostly a number and “xx”. Any idea what that means?

OK, I added the suggestions and a few more I thought of. More can be added later but I think this is a good start.

Yes, Snider Snow, Sometimes we really do need Liquor 😉 For convenience I just wanted to differentiate between where one can get groceries and liquor vs groceries only. For a lot of people coming up the hill, it matters.

We are very lucky in that we didn’t have that much damage this year but want to see about taking care of what we have. I just tried Finns who we have used in the past and he is not taking I new clients this year.

Any recommendations of others to talk to?

Are you looking for pavement or dirt? There is a nice little loop if you start at the Meko Fire station and hit the forest road behind it. You can go down to the rec center on dirt then climb back on pavement. It is about 7 miles. You can also make it shorter by cutting up to Shoshone. That will cut about 1.5 miles off.

I have been wanting to try the Arnold Rim Trail and find that it’s quite long. Where is a goo spot do do a loop for the first time?

    Hi all.
I am beginning to build the new business directory and am looking for your input. My first task is to set up categories that apply to the listings. I believe, but don’t know for sure yet, that a listing can fall under more than one category.
I want to keep the number of categories down to a minimum and would like to avoid sub-categories if possible.
Below is a preliminary list of categories that I’m considering. I would like to hear from you if you have any suggestions.

    Restaurants
    Bars
    Groceries
    Wine/Beer
    Liquor
    Motels
    Real estate & Rentals
    Tree Work
    General Contractors
    Handyman
    House Cleaning
    Salons and Barbers
    Stump Grinding
    Snow Removal
    Lot Clearing
    Auto Repair & Tires
    Small Engine Repair

    Others?
