    Howdy Neighbors!

I’m looking for a couple of recommendations:

#1: Squirrels (likely Douglas Squirrel or Chickaree/Chipmunks). Any recommendations on a squirrel master – one who can determine exactly where they are getting into my ceiling and who can get them out and keep them out? I have a high vaulted ceiling in a family room and I can see the shavings and occasional poop getting pushed out where the wood ceiling meets the main beam. I just can’t find where they are getting in!

#2: Spiders – first time in years I have been compelled to get someone over to spray. They build the webs faster than I can remove them – and the more I remove the more they seem to build!

    Any recommendations appreciated.

    Thanks

🙂 The red line you see in some of the snapshots is our recently installed sun sail over our front deck. Love it. We’re considering intalling two more for more coverage. We got ours on Amazon.

We use one at my sisters cabin in Lakemont. Worked great for us. we do not keep it up but use it as needed.

    Hi all

Has anyone tried hanging those “sun sails” sun shades? I’ve seen a few around the neighborhood, but not up close. (They are kind of like a nice-looking tight tarp in place of an umbrella.) I was wondering how they hold up to the winds here, and if you leave them up all the time or remove them when you leave.

    Any other comments appreciated.

    thanks
    Michelle

Back to rswheeler1 at the very beginning. Called AAA office in Angels Camp. No longer accepting new home insurance policies for Dorrington. So you can likely expect another non-renewal at annual end of policy.
If not, you’re one of the lucky ones.

When I go out to do a driveway for a customer I open them up. I don’t do one pass. I try to do the driveway like I do my own. I don’t want big piles in my way. I want my customers to know I work for them. I appreciate their business. They can call anytime.

    Hello bigtreestechman,
We use blowers. We do free quotes also.

We also have had the same Hartford/AARP policy (2 homes, 3 cars) for years, and they just cancelled out Dorrigton. Out agent said Hartford is non-renewing all Dorrington-area homes at the annual renewal. Good luck.

I’ve had Hartford/AARP for my Dorrington home, plus AZ home and 3 cars for several years now…saved me a bundle.

Did I miss a weather forecast? Do I need our driveway plowed for Labor Day? Maybe Bear Valley will open early… 😉

I have insurance through safeco. Reasonable coverage at a reasonable price. Insured with them for two years now.
