One of the things I like the most about the new website is that it is so much easier to maintain. Since the switch-over there have been several upgrades to the primary software package as well as other elements. Today, upon request (aka threat) from our web-host, I even upgraded to a new version of the computer language (PHP) that makes this whole thing work. All of these upgrades have been smooth, easy, and virtually unnoticeable from the outside.
OH, and we’re now over 14,500 automatically blocked spammers.
If I had had to change the version of the computer language with the old site it might have taken weeks to get it running and it would probably have resulted in switching to what we have now, just with a lot more frustration and down time!Moji has been found, thanks to our lovely neighbors. He found his way back onto our front porch 24 hours later, not bad for a 5 month old puppy,and our neighbor spotted him and grabbed him up for us to retrieve.
On the way back from Arnold my wife and I drove around the area but no luck. Hope someone finds him.
I really hope you find him soon. He looks like a puppy version of our dog Sasha. Part Beagle, Shitzu and we think Lhasa. Seems to have more of a retriever personality than anything.

joeThe road to the trail head has 3-4″ of packed snow on it, I just drove in w/2 wheel drive but if you get off of the pack you’re liable to get stuck without 4WD. The Chickaree day use parking area is plowed so you could park there. The trail itself has the same amount of snow on it, but should be pretty visible especially if you’ve hiked it before.
I recieved the Sportdog unit and have been using it on Ruby for the past few days. Links to the satellites within 30 seconds, and keeps the link very well in and among the trees. I have been leaving it on all day and the batteries are good for the entire time. Highly recommend.
I had a chance to use the SportDog training/tracking collar mentioned above over the last few days and can echo the comments about the collar. Easy to use, locks onto the satellites quickly, and holds the signals very well. I have been leaving the handheld control and collar on all day and the batteries hold up through the entire time. great product so far.
