K6OAK
ParticipantI purchased oak these past two years from Bob, 794-4138. I think I paid $100 for a 1/3 cord delivered. Not sure if he is still selling this time of year, but worth a call. I did see an ad yesterday on the bulletin board at Giant Burger for a party selling firewood.

ParticipantAnyone know of someone looking to sell seasoned oak firewood? I know there is a lot of cedar/fir out there, but I prefer oak for heating as it doesn’t gunk up the flue with creosote. We have some, but could probably use another cord or so.

ParticipantAny one seen a county plow? Last time we were plowed was 9:00PM on Saturday.
It’s now 2:30 pm and we have over 10″ of snow. The red marker is a 12″ ruler

ParticipantSorry to hear that!
Does this mean the current temp, etc reported under your pictures are not actually current?bigtreestechman
KeymasterUnfortunately, the weather station battery, which I just recently replaced, has died. Given current conditions, it may be a few days until I get around to replacing it again.

ParticipantIf anyone knows who the wandering female Husky or Malmute belongs 2. Could you please ask them to keep it on a leash or inside. It is scarring the crap out of my young kids that are playing in our driveway.
Thanks

ParticipantHey kids this is a well taken point. Ebbetts Pass Fire District has a list of qualified lot cleaners, tree removers, etc. Start with them, they have already done the footwork.

ParticipantYou might try ACE hardware. They had a gentleman who was sharpening chains.

ParticipantHello Good People, I came up this weekend to cut a down tree on my place on Wikami. The flat land shop I trusted to sharpen my saw only sharpen the teeth on one side of my chain. The saw is cutting at severe uncontrollable angles which will make it harder to split. Any suggestions? Chain saw sharpeners in BTV? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
