Any one seen a county plow? Last time we were plowed was 9:00PM on Saturday.
It’s now 2:30 pm and we have over 10″ of snow. The red marker is a 12″ ruler

cmon4dayParticipantYou must have jiggled it and now it seems to be working.
Beautiful snow.
michelle sParticipantSorry to hear that!
Does this mean the current temp, etc reported under your pictures are not actually current?bigtreestechmanKeymasterUnfortunately, the weather station battery, which I just recently replaced, has died. Given current conditions, it may be a few days until I get around to replacing it again.
tortugaParticipantHere’s a list of tree folk:

Thanks
ClarksbackhoeParticipantAnyone using a completely wireless security camera?? Would love to get one in a tree and have heard some can run on battery…too may out there to choose from
Grandpa CoffeeParticipantHey kids this is a well taken point. Ebbetts Pass Fire District has a list of qualified lot cleaners, tree removers, etc. Start with them, they have already done the footwork.
Eric
mtndadParticipantYou might try ACE hardware. They had a gentleman who was sharpening chains.
fishinfoolParticipantHello Good People, I came up this weekend to cut a down tree on my place on Wikami. The flat land shop I trusted to sharpen my saw only sharpen the teeth on one side of my chain. The saw is cutting at severe uncontrollable angles which will make it harder to split. Any suggestions? Chain saw sharpeners in BTV? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

JohnMParticipantVery nice Sandy. Especially like the classical Spanish guitar background music. Classy….
SierrashooParticipantHey all
I’m trying to be the good (out-of-state) owner and do my best to remove ($$$) bark beetle infested trees. Have gotten a number of quotes, but a few that can’t provide insurance paperwork. Please folks. Your cabin aside. If anu of these workers who are “contracted” under a non-/under-insured company are injured swinging around in over 100′ trees or drop something onto your cabin/property – well you’re out of luck as far as homeowners covers. So is that unfortunate person who gets hurt on your property and just might sue your policy. Be smart. Be fair. But be sure to demand a certificate of insurance before you spend the $$.
gagacabinParticipantThank you for the beautiful ride.
