ParticipantI may end up using one of the contract guys to just pick up my pile. I’ll do all the raking and hauling to a convenient spot. Makes the day a little easier.
Anyone have contact information for Rowley’s just in case? I’ve searched but could not find it.

ParticipantI took a trailer full of needles on May 6th to rowleys and it was open. Give them a call.

ParticipantI have heard both sides of that. Last summer I went there with some brush and I thought they said they were not taking needles any more.

ParticipantThe license number of the truck is easy to read.. Hopefully, the sheriff noted it in their report for future reference..

ParticipantUpdate on truck stuck in trees/rock – Sheriff came out and the truck was gone by then. They said there was no damage to property (I guess…if you don’t call trees/rocks property). and that they weren’t following up on driver. They did do a walk around the property to check for vandalism or other damage and saw none.
All good news.
Sounds like someone just made an error in judgement and the truck got the worst of it. Still…I wish that someone would have walked to my neighbor and acknowledged themselves and the event.
If someone knows the truck, please do contact me.WikamiCabin
ParticipantHi all,
Today we got a call from our neighbor. We live on the 600 block of Wikami. He sent us pics of a truck that was stuck in our trees/rocks just off the right of our driveway/garage.
Our neighbor saw the truck sometime around 10:30am this morning.
He says there is a gathering down the street on Wikami and also people at the cabin below ours.
There was a man walking on Wikami but they noticed him before noticing the truck. They went looking for him to ask if it was his truck but he wasn’t found.
I have called the Sherrif and the are on their way out.
I am hoping someone saw this or recognizes the truck and will get in touch with me.
Please reply to this post.
Thank you all!Attachments:

ParticipantWhile at dinner last night in the bay area with another BTV family, my friend mentioned that Rowley’s would not take needles this year. Says he even went out there to talk to him. If this is true, I’m surprised it hasn’t been discussed on this forum. Or maybe I just missed it. And if true, I guess I’m looking into a trash bin rental. Avery is too far for my 5 loads.
Hope someone can dispel this rumor.

ParticipantWe are too far into our grandparent years to be able to move a desk from our cabin up to the car. It is twenty some steps from the front door up to the driveway and the desk is HEAVY! We have removed all the drawers but it is built with solid maple so weighs a ton. Some help at a reasonable price would be very much appreciated! We are on Shoshone. Many thanks. V and J
