You will be pleased with Ron & A-1. They took down an 80-90ft pine, cut and chipped everything up and removed all traces of the tree in 1 hour. Was very pleased.

In the last two days I have witnessed one spin-out and heard about three more between Arnold and just above Camp Connell. And all of these have occurred after the storm and after the roads were plowed. The roads may look clear, and the temperature may be above freezing but there are still cold icy stretches on the highway.
Do you have your safety stash in your vehicle? Chains, jumper cables, food, water, blankets, tarp, flashlight, rain gear, boots, gloves, hat, shovel, cell phone, etc?

    For that matter, do I?

Just ordered a set of these for my Expedition for the reasons the other poster mentioned. Regular chains are a huge pain to put on just to get to Hwy 4.
I’ll let you how it goes after I get them.

Can anyone recommend a reliable plumber who can install a new water supply line from the meter to the cabin? Your help will be appreciated.

    Done! Finally!
I have disabled private replies in the forum. That feature did not do what I thought it was supposed to do. Rather than being a private reply to the original author, private replies turned out to be only viewable by the reply author and me, the administrator.

be aware that the private replies on the forum do not work as you might expect. If you send a private reply I’m pretty sure that only the author and I (the admin) can see them. I keep meaning to disable the “feature” but just haven’t gotten to it yet… sorry.

I have a white fir that has already been felled by PG&E contractor. Posted it previously as free wood. It on the side of the driveway at 1020 Yuroc in BTV.

Haven’t been up in a bit but last time I was up their was a lot of wood available.

If anyone wants it please take it.
