ParticipantWe have used Ash Away for many years. Don’t have the phone number handy but they’re probably in the phone book. They are reliable and clean.

ParticipantDoes anyone have a recommendation for a chimney sweep. After 30 years I’m thinking I might need it done. I have a Lopi wood stove with a 6 inch pipe about 18 feet long.
Thanks in advance, Scottmtndad

ParticipantWe had a notice on our door from the water district that the boil water advisory had been removed. Anyone know what this was about? Never heard a thing about it.

KeymasterWell, fortunately it’s not “people”, it’s just a single individual without morals. None of the people I know would do anything like this.

We use her often. She is very professional, but won’t come once it snows.

ParticipantMy neighbor’s cat has been missing for a few weeks now. He is a male orange medium size cat. Very friendly.
Lost around the Sierra Parkway and Shoshone area.
They have called the humane society, and searched the area. Please if you have any information, please let us know.
Thanks, we all miss him…Westlye
ParticipantI certainly hope that Sheila is safe and has been found!
I highly recommend micro-chipping pets. We have a mostly indoor cat that has twice gotten “lost” for a few days. I might add, she’s not the brightest star in the universe but super sweet. Her most recent wander was for over two weeks in Truckee (9/19). We spent hours searching and calling for her as did our neighbors. We were certain that she was taken by a predator until she was picked by animal control and scanned for a chip. I kind couple found her in their yard (over two miles away) and called animal control. Both animal control and the micro-chip company, PetLink, immediately contacted us via text messaging and emails (10/5). Our cat, “Bear”, was no worse for the wear and seems completely fine (not flustered or edgy, just a little lighter). Needless to say, she’s grounded and am grateful that the micro-chipping programs work so well. $7 to bail her out of a luxurious pokey in Truckee.
