This (Saturday) morning is clear and cool, fortunately! No weird reddish sky or smoke around. Supposed to be not as hot today, too.

    In my opinion, Stay Home.

The smoke has been very bad. Early AM in Big Trees, you can barley see across the street.

Smoke will clear and the return.

OWNERS FOUND! Thanks to technology, social media and kindness, the current owners have been found. They are new residents in Dorrington and “secured” the dogs on their deck before going to work. His kids like to explore so they got out of the deck and collars. Being picked up shortly.

One larger male and one smaller female. Both friendly but no tags. I’ll keep them here with water until this evening because they don’t seem to know where home is and I don’t want them to get hit by a car. Please email me at weddletbh@gmail.com if you know where they belong. Thanks.

Pretty sure it was PG&E. They removed about 6 like that on my property. They only removed dead ones, but sometimes they judge small trees dead when you don’t see them being that brown. The way to tell is if the top stub branches are light green with few shoots. They only remove the ones that could fall on power lines. They just left them on my property and would not remove anything under about 12″ (can’t remember the exact dimension) in diameter.

I have a bunk bed set that needs a new home. Free.
The top is a twin, the bottom is a full size. Mattress’ is included. The frame is metal and is white. Could easily be spray painted a different color.

Thanks Mtndad for the info and PG&E was our first thought. However, we’ve seen PG&E always top trees under their power lines, not remove them and most, though not all, of the ones we’ve noticed removed would not have been tall enough to interfere with their lines, so were suspecting another agency.
