Anyone have a secret idea to finding used kids cross country gear? Ebay has little, craigslist even less (Unless I look in Minnesota!). I’d rather not pay for new gear with growing kids needing new sizes frequently. I know BearValley XC has a kids upgrade program but I’m hoping to buy used so both my kids can make use and hand down to the next. Am I missing some treasure trove?

If he checks his trail cam as often as I do, I’m surprised it’s not from last year. πŸ™‚ Nice looking bear!

Anyone ever tried one of these or something similar for pine needles? I got three replies from Amazon owners and they all said it works good on pine needles. It would be pulled with an ATV on a level lot.

    Almost forgot the link. πŸ™‚

Oh, and lucky find… I discovered that another connection problem I was having (unrelated to BigTreesTech) was due to the same limitation on another device. Software can sometimes be such a PITA!!!

OK, we’re back to 100%! It turned out that the last problem was due to one wireless adapter that would not accept certain characters in wireless passwords. It didn’t complain about them, it just acted like they’d never been typed in. When I quit for the day yesterday I had a suspicion it had to do either with certain characters or coding of the characters. Glad that’s done!

I only have access to Bigtreestech and Nextdoor for Blue Lake springs and Big Trees Village. If you have access to other forums (or friends) that you think may benefit. Please cross-post/ share the link to https://www.facebook.com/BVASR

    thanks Neil

    Hi,

Do you snowmobile? Would you like to try it? Would you like to have a forum to keep up to date on what’s going on with the snowmobile community on the Highway 4 corridor?

I set up a facebook page called https://www.facebook.com/BVASR
It’s short for Bear Valley Area Snowmobile Riders. Please Like us to stay up to date. The page will follow things like:
    – tailgates at the snowpark or out on the trail
    – Full moon rides
    – Group/social fun rides
    – Latest conditions
    – Legal /regulatory issues that can affect our sport
    – Tech discussions

The idea behind the page is for folks who like to snowmobile can set up group rides, share stories, pictures and status on the current conditions on the highway 4 corridor.

PS – for those that have not tried snowmobiling, you can rent a sled from Bear Valley Snowmobile and take a ride out to Spicer Lake, Hermit Valley or Highland Lakes. For those of you who have only seen those areas in the summer, to see them in the winter is really awesome. if you are interested in renting a sled this winter – check out their web page at – http://www.bvsnowmobile.com/reservations/

The season is just about to get underway!!!!!
    Neil
