ParticipantWe were going to have Twinkls do our windows because others said they do a good job at a reasonable price. But when we got an estimate it was anything but reasonable. Since all our windows open, we decided to do them ourselves with the help of an extension handle and combination squeegee/sponge. By opening the windows and removing the screens, we were able to get the windows “squeaky clean.” However, if you have large windows up high that don’t open, it’s probably worthwhile having Twinkle do those.

ParticipantLast spring I had 2 bobcats crouched under my attached carport eyeing a gray squirrel trying to get into my bird feeder. They bolted when I raised the window blinds.
But check out the attached photo from this past Wednesday morning at 7 AM. I kept looking over my shoulder all day. Shoshone near Sierra Parkway and Boards Crossing.

ParticipantThanks for the clarification, I got the impression that you were casting doubt on the veracity of the show.
It’s too bad if they have fallen back into bad habits since, in our opinion, they had no business being owners of that establishment.
We will, however, give it the benefit of the doubt and check it out.

ParticipantWell I have been here for 23 years and the food at the Murphys hotel is as bad now as it was before the show. It got pretty good right after the show but quickly fell right back into the garbage it was before. Fine dining it is not. Thirteen years ago when Gerber owned the hotel it was reservations only and Fantastic food with incredible service but those days are long gone unfortunately. I really hope they can get it together.

ParticipantMtndad,
Are you trying to say that the event that appeared on TV was staged and what was shown doesn’t or didn’t exist?
I was hoping there was a some legitimacy to that show.

ParticipantAbout two months ago I saw a bobcat casually walking across my property within 10 feet of my cabin in the mid afternoon. Two weeks later I see him again in mid afternoon, this time walking maybe 30 feet from my cabin. I’ve never seen one in Dorrington before in the 15 years we’ve been here. I live on Indian Rock near the very end of Sierra Parkway.
Assuming it is the same bobcat, he’s being pretty brazen.

ParticipantBe careful!! A small bob cat just walked up my driveway as I was taking items out of my trunk! Holy crap! We both stared at each other and I said get the hell away! Sierra Parkway and Boards Crossing !The cat just looked at me and did not move!
Neighbors, this was at 6:00 PM!-

ParticipantHi vnj,
Thank you very much for the info. Now my cabin maintenance question won’t be under “traffic problems.”
