ParticipantBrian, I walked by your place Tuesday @ 5:35 pm…stopped in the U and waved at your camera(s), I think. All looked very normal.

ParticipantYeah, it works!

ParticipantIf you are handy with engines you can flush out the carburetor with cleaner and clean the spark plug. That should do it. When two cycle gas sits it evaporates leaving the petroleum oils behind to concentrate and plug the engine. I once revived a chainsaw by opening the jets and pouring fresh gas down the air cleaner to get the junk out. Good luck.

ParticipantI thought it was a joke about ‘looking for a lost pet’.
The guy is a classic example of ‘looking for a way in’.
I hope someone can identify the guy which might send a message to his ‘pals’!lostbruce
ParticipantI think Arnold rental can do repairs. They have sharpened a chain for me before when I was too lazy to do it myself. Seemed like a place that would handle these kind of repairs. The guy was very nice, sorry can’t remember his name.

Participantif we are at our place (not far from yours Norcal311) feel free to call me and i would be happy to run over there if you see this creep again. NO WAY was he looking for a pet.. he was trying to hide behind your trees and sneaking around for sure. looks like the same guy about a year ago IIRC? maybe from the other tweaker house on meko with the small dogs that used to bark all the time?

KeymasterBigTreesTech now uses WordPress as it’s foundation. WordPress, by default, uses gravatar (globally recognized avatar) profile pictures.
You can create a gravatar profile by going to http://en.gravatar.com/
Click on the “Create Your Own Gravatar” link and follow the simple instructions that follow. Make sure you use the same email address as you did to register on bigteestech.com.
I have used this previously and it worked. I don’t have time now but will set up a gravatar for my admin account later today to make sure it works.
FYI, once you set up a gravatar, your profile picture might show up on other websites where you have registered with the same email address… hence the name “global”.

ParticipantI had BestRide Ever repair my generator and did an excellent job. Not sure he is still around.
Jodie Clint, Best Ride Ever, 795-0735. He does come you.
Since Ace is a Stihl dealer, they should be able to repair your chainsaw.

ParticipantI remember going to the spots that’s also the antique store in Angels but there was also Pete’s Ammo and saw, but for some reason thought that he is no longer with us. That’s a shame because he did the best work ever.
There’s another guy that helped with with my snow blower last winter and I think there name was Steve’s ultimate ride. Pretty much a handyman but seemed to know his way around small engines.

ParticipantWe have a project coming up, and our Stihl chainsaw will not run. Couple of years of inactivity. Ebbetts Pass Lumber is listed as a Stihl repair site, are they any good? I think I remember a repair shop in Avery, but I cant find any information on the WEB.
Any recommendations for a local repair?NorCal311
ParticipantMe too, I am a open friendly person.

ParticipantI would if I could.

ParticipantAll my cameras “see” only my property with the exception of my driveway, which also “sees” our street. I think they are a good idea. When I’m gone, I can still see what is happening around our cabin.

ParticipantI joked before but now I am seriously considering putting more cameras up there. I wonder if we’re getting a bit paranoid or if it’s prudent measure? What I don’t want to happen is for guests who might happen to be up there on there own to get weirded out by having cameras around, seemingly spying on what they’re doing.
How do the rest of you handle this aspect of the subject?
