Everette’s would be my #1 choice but if he is not doing it anymore Black Gold in San Andreas is very good also.

I need to have my driveway resurfaced and contacted both Ron Cooper and Ken’s Asphalt. Ken’s said they no longer service Dorrington because it is too far from their location in Sonora. I am currently on a waiting list with Ron’s for next Spring.

Other than Ron Cooper, does anyone have a recommendation for someone to put in an asphalt driveway?

Parts are on order and have been shipped. Once they arrive I will have to take the station apart to install them. If I am successful the station should be off line for less than a day. If I am not successful then the station will be off line until I can buy a new one.

FYI, the BigTreesTech weather station is having problems and is intermittently shutting down. I hope to be able to order replacement parts and fix it soon but if that doesn’t work out it will have to be replaced.

Hello, one of our very big cedar trees has a fairly large conk fungus growing from it. Looking for a qualified arborist to come take a look and give us a plan of action (which hopefully doesn’t involve taking the tree down…).
    Thanks for any recommendations.

I have a Honda 2000 watt I used when I had a travel trailer. Quiet, reliable, fuel efficient. Honda also makes a parallel kit where you can have 2- 2000 watt generators connected for larger loads. Yamaha and other companies make similar generators as well. Sometimes you can find them used on Craig’s List, but I have found they hold their value really well, so a new one may be in order. Good luck!

An update to my generator adventure. I purchased a DuroMax 12000 watt hybrid gas/propane generator. I am waiting for a quote from Pioneer for setting up a connection into the house grid.

I will keep the community updated.
