Keymasterhmmm… not sure what happened… I went to delete some old posts that did not seem relevant any longer and somehow deleted the entire topic.
Dan, I’m sorry, it was not intentional.
To reiterate what I had posted earlier, I am in full support of Dan and what he is trying to accomplish at CC. The staff are great, there is a much wider food selection, and the prices have actually come down.
I highly recommend that you stop by, say hi, and give them a try.

ParticipantAfter this hard winter I find shards of brick popping off my chimney. I think its due to water getting in and freezing. has anyone had this issue and how did you fix it. Does anyone know who to call for a bid for repairs?

ParticipantOurs was with Nationwide and went from $790 to $1900. Now have a company out of Arizona.

ParticipantI think we’re around $1600+/y. We had to rebid August 2016 and found very few agents who could bid a policy for us. We ended up with a policy with Evanston Insurance. A few agents offered a policy via Evanston with premiums all over the place for the same coverage. It was a lengthy process and I hope not to have to repeat next August.

ParticipantI paid $703 for fire coverage through California Fair Plan and another $800 for all the other homeowners insurance from Travelers.
So, I’m in for over $1400 a year.

ParticipantWe were recently notified our house insurance was being canceled due to the high brush area we have here in Big Trees. We found a new company but our insurance increased over $1000 a year. Has anybody else had this issue?

KeymasterThat is a nice looking site. For the time being, I am planning on limiting page content to weather info and webcam images with links to things like forecasts and road conditions (like at the top of this page).
I hope to be able to start producing some sample graphics layouts in the next week or so. -
